Come on down...you're the next contestant on The Smathers Price is Right! The dedicated staff and librarians of the Acquisitions & Collections Services Department are thrilled to welcome you to our Department. We're excited to share more about our team and the important work we do on behalf of the entire UF user community. We acquire and maintain access to materials and resources that support the teaching, learning, and research endeavors at UF, and we have fun doing it!  

Join us on the 4th floor of the Smathers Library, or The Price is Right stage. You'll meet the team, learn more about how we can support you, and enter a world of fabulous games and prizes.  Have you ever wondered how much the various books, ebooks, journals, databases, streaming media, and other library resources cost?  Would you like a peek "backstage" to see how we provide responsible stewardship of our Libraries' $14 million materials budget? Then come on down! Our host, Bob Barker...er...Jason Heckathorn, will dazzle you with pricing games for library resources. Come closest to the actual cost without going over, and you could win prizes beyond your wildest dreams!

• Transportation: A Library van or golf cart can be requested with Library facilities for transportation to and from the event
