Introduction to 3D printing at Marston In-Person
Never used our 3D printing service because you don’t know where to start?
Not sure what you could print? Or where to find files? Curious to give it a try?
This beginner-friendly workshop will walk you through the full 3D printing process, from idea to finished object. You’ll learn about common 3D file types, where to find high-quality open-source designs, how to use free design software, and the basics of computer-aided design (CAD). We’ll also show you exactly how to submit a print through our 3D printing service.
By the end of the workshop, you’ll submit a small print (either a cookie cutter or a keychain), which you can pick up in 3–5 business days.
Come explore what’s possible with 3D printing and leave with something fun!
