What to Know About Publishing in Academia (Hybrid) In-Person / Online
This is a hybrid workshop where participants can attend in person or online via Zoom.
Workshop Description: Wondering how to choose a publisher for your research? Feeling unfamiliar with the review process? How do you even get started? This session will cover the steps of the academic publishing process, provide some tips for getting your research published, and share library resources that will help you along the way. Participants are also encouraged to share their own experiences.
Presenter: Megan Daly is the Classics, Philosophy, and Religion Librarian at Library West, the humanities and social sciences library at UF. .
Location: The Library Instruction Lab is located on the 2nd floor of Library West, which is located on the north end of the Plaza of the Americas. The 2nd floor can be accessed via the front escalators or elevator. The Library Instruction Lab can be found to the left of the User Services desk.
