Step into Library West, UF’s hub for Humanities and Social Sciences! On this guided tour, you’ll:

  • Discover the Mindfulness Studio – an intentional space for peace, prayer, meditation, and/or reflection throughout the day

  • Learn how to find books and use the moving shelves

  • Explore study spaces, collections, technology, and unique features like exercise bikes

  • See where to access the film collection (DVD, Blu-ray, and VHS) and newspapers available

Library West is located at the north end of UF’s Plaza of the Americas, across from Smathers Library.

  • Address: 1545 W. University Ave, Gainesville, FL 32611
  • Tour Start: The tour will begin on the second floor (take the escalator up) in Room 211, located to the left of the circulation desk.
