Making a World of Difference: Stories About Global Health

The University of Florida Health Science Center Libraries is hosting the National Library of Medicine travelling exhibit Making a World of Difference: Stories About Global Health from October 20th through November 29, 2025. From November 13,2025 through November 26,2025, the exhibit will be displayed at the University of Florida Borland Library in Jacksonville, FL. This competitively awarded exhibit examines stories of the people who are working on a wide range of issues—from community health to conflict, disease to discrimination—to improve health in their areas and beyond. Using archival materials and documentation, it tells the story of how people came together to improve health in their communities and around the world. The exhibit consists of six banners that will be displayed on the first floor of the library. To view the exhibit, simply stop by the library on the first floor!

The Health Science Center Library is located in the Communicore Building, SW Archer Rd, Gainesville, FL 32610. The Borland Library is located at 653-1 West 8th Street, LRC Building – 2nd Floor, Jacksonville FL 32209-6511
