Exploring Cancer Patient Experiences Through Comics: Graphic Medicine Micro Book Club

Exploring Cancer Patient Experiences Through Comics: Graphic Medicine Micro Book Club Online

No need for prereading! This workshop is part of a series of mini book discussions using comics to explore topics in healthcare.  We’ll read two comic excerpts together as a group, pulling from “Kimiko Does Cancer: A Graphic Memoir” by Kimiko Tobimatsu and “Mom’s Cancer” by Brian Fies. Each reading will be followed by a facilitated group discussion. Join us to learn about how comics can be used to discuss patient experiences!
