Managing Your Research Workflow Workshop: Data, References, and Researcher Identity (in-person or online) In-Person
This is a hybrid workshop where participants can attend in person or online via Zoom.
Workshop Description: This Library Workshop for Graduate Student Appreciation Week introduces tools to streamline research for data cleaning, citation management and metrics. Workshop will include live demo and hands-on practice on OpenRefine for data cleaning, comparison of citation managers (e.g. Endnote, Zotero, Mendley,SciWheel), and creating an online researcher profile with ORCiD. Also learn about ARCS department as a resource for research support.
Presenters: Lauren Adkins, Liaison Librarian to the College of Pharmacy and ARCS Systematic Review Consultant; Natya Hans, Informatics and Reproducibility Librarian; and Suzanne Stapleton, Librarian for Agricultural Sciences and Digital Scholarship.
Location: Attend in person in Marston Science Library, Room 308, or online via Zoom. The address for Marston Science Library is 444 Newell Drive, Gainesville, FL 32611. You can ask for room directions at the service desk when you come in through the entrance on the second floor.
