Session 1 - Introduction to Mentoring and Fostering Independence
Date: Tuesday, September 13, 10am - 12pm noon
This session will provide an overview of the Libraries’ mentoring series within the context of UF’s Mentoring Initiative; establish guidelines for discussions and participation; review effective mentoring practices; offer mentors and mentees an opportunity to share experiences and perspectives; and contextualize the mentor-mentee relationship within the broader context of the Libraries, Department, and University.
