Education Library Change Location

The Education Library offers 7 rooms to current UF students for group study. Groups may make up to 2 bookings and up to 2 hours per day. Bookings may last for a duration of 30 minutes to 2 hours (120 minutes). Only one study room may be booked at a time. Study rooms can be booked up to 2 weeks in advance.

Once your booking has been successfully submitted, you will receive an email from LibCal confirming your reservation. You can cancel your reservation at any point up until the reserved time via the link in the confirmation email. If you need assistance with booking a room, please contact the Education circulation department at 352-273-2780.

Study Room Policies:

  • The Education Library Study Rooms are intended for group study; however, the Relaxation Room may be reserved by a single individual.
  • Patrons are not permitted to reserve them for the purpose of taking an exam.
  • The walls and windows may not be covered or altered by users of the room.
  • Rooms must be ready to use when vacated by the assignee. No personal items may be left behind.
  • Furniture and whiteboard must stay in the study room. Furniture may not be removed or added to the study room.
  • Do not leave any personal material unattended. Remember the doors are not locked. The library is not responsible for any thefts.
  • Quiet conversations are allowed however, the rooms are not soundproof.
  • No food allowed.

In addition to the above, the person who made the reservation is responsible for:

  • The condition of the study room and library items belonging in the study room.
  • Any loud conversation that can be heard outside of the study room. Please be considerate.
